About BMG

Be My Guest Portraits was founded by Jordon Hon, a photographer born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta - part of Treaty 6 Territory.
Jordon photographs people the way he sees them: as individuals with stories worth telling. His work often takes place at celebrations, cultural events, artist studios, local businesses, and neighbourhoods that feel meaningful and always with passionate individuals. Rather than chasing perfection, he looks for the moments in between—the gestures, expressions, and relationships that reveal something real.
With an active practice in documentary and editorial photography, Jordon brings a distinctly human approach to his work. He is drawn not only to what is beautiful, but to what feels honest. Every session and event is approached with curiosity, care, and genuine engagement.
Deeply connected to Edmonton's cultural mosaic, Jordon has spent years photographing the people, organizations, artists, entrepreneurs, and community builders who shape the city - the only place he has called home.
BMG is not a volume business. Every project is intentional. Jordon chooses collaborators and clients based on shared values and authentic alignment, creating photographs that feel personal, affirming and lasting. Making people feel seen, celebrated, and like they belong is not just part of the process—it is the reason why Jordon continues to point his lens to people and why Be My Guest Portraits exists.
