When you book with me, we’ll start by getting to know each other’s goals and interests. Talking about what you’re looking to get out of your portrait session. We’ll go through clothing and accessory options to pair with backdrop colours and seating options. On the day of, we’ll ease into things, throw on some good music. and work together to make some portraits you’re proud and excited to share.

I always have your photos coming up on a monitor while we shoot so you know exactly how you’re looking. At the end of the day, I want you to love your portraits and how you felt when getting them done.

The difference between the Signature and Staple session is intention. The Signature Studio Session is tailored for those looking for an elevated solo portrait experience where we will take time finding your angles, get creative with styling, backdrops, seating, and posing to create a collection of portraits that dig deeper beyond a headshot.

The Staple Headshot is for professionals who value efficiency. Think LinkedIn profiles, speaker and company bios, dating profiles, actor headshots!

I suggest bringing more layers and options because you never know how it’ll look under studio lights and against our backdrops. Accessories and jewelry can truly elevate an outfit too.

Bring the clothes you feel best and yourself in. Simple and minimal is best as we want people to focus on your beautiful face. Avoid big logos and tight patterns for professional headshots.

You can add pre-shoot makeup and light hair styling to any package. It is highly recommended that everyone get their makeup done prior to coming in for photos. Good makeup can be crucial to a good headshot session. It helps your skin take on studio lighting well and in return, yields a clean look on camera to bring out your best features!

Yes! Our retouching includes: Acne, fly-away hairs, teeth lightening, red eyes, blemishes, or anything else that is temporary. We leave permanent things like scars, beauty marks, freckles, etc. I am always open to conversations about self-image and when you feel your best. We’re all human at the end of the day.

A Look can be as extensive as a full outfit change or as small as adding or removing a layer. Essentially it would be another option to change up your style. We’ll discuss your chosen Looks when you first arrive to the studio so we can best plan out the session together!

To book a session, please contact me to schedule and confirm your package choice.

50% non-fundable retainer is required to secure your booking along with a signed session agreement. Your retainer payment is applied to your remaining balance. The remaining balance is due the day of your session after the shoot is completed.

After booking is confirmed, you will receive details via email to help you prep for your session and feel your best. We’ll schedule a call to chat about your session and how to best prepare.

Within 4 business days after we shoot, you’ll receive an e-mail with a link to a proofing gallery. From this gallery, you will have up to a week to make your selections, including optional additional purchases, and send them to me for the retouching stage. Once I receive your choices, you’ll receive your final retouched and stylized images in 7 business days in high-res and web-ready download files. Add “Expedited Portrait Delivery” to your package for a quicker turnaround time.

Yes! Additional retouched portraits are available for only 50/image. After receiving your proofing gallery, you may select as many photos as you’d like beyond your included ones. A separate invoice will be sent and once that is paid, your portraits will be retouched and delivered.

Yes! Contact me to customize a portrait session that can take place outside, at specific locations, or a mix or studio and outdoors. Happy to consult and recommend spaces to fit our shared vision.
